The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the waitlist form: your email address and which of four options describes you. We don't ask for, collect or store your service records on this site.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we store:
- your email address;
- the option you chose: Guard or Reserve; Active duty, retiring within 2 years; Already retired; Other;
- the page you signed up from; and
- the date and time you signed up.
We don't store your IP address, your name or anything about your service. The form has a hidden field that catches spam bots; to stop repeated automated posts, your IP address is used briefly as a counter key and isn't saved.
How we use it
To tell you when the pilot opens, occasionally to tell you about new guides, and to count how many people in each group are interested, so we know what to build next. Every email will include a way to stop getting them.
Who sees it
Only us. We don't sell, rent or trade your information. The site and the waitlist database are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes data on our behalf. When we start sending email, we'll name the delivery service here.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't set cookies, show ads or use advertising trackers. We may count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare says "does not use any client-side state, such as cookies or localStorage, to collect usage metrics" and doesn't fingerprint visitors (Cloudflare). Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your email until you ask us to remove it or we close the list. To be removed, write to hello@myrecordreview.com from the address you signed up with.
Your records
This site doesn't accept uploads. When the pilot opens, its own privacy notice will explain how documents are handled before you send anything. We will never ask for a CAC, a password or a portal login.
Children
This site is for adults and isn't directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
